The Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo Junior Sale of Champions was held Saturday Morning at the Watt Arena.  This year’s Grand Champion Steer ,”Leadfoot,”  was raised by 17 year old Elli Bezner of Dallam County 4-H.   “Leadfoot” was purchased by Higginbotham Insurance for $340,000.   92.1 Hank FM along with our good friends at JAG Metals LLC also participated in the sale and bought two steers.  A 4th place European Cross named “Ol’ Son” raised by Lathan Driver of Grandview, TX and Johnson County 4-H.  We also purchased a 7th place European Cross named “Primo” raised by Kyndell Hooser of Weatherford and Hood County 4-H.

All the money from the Junior Sale of Champions benefits the student steer handlers.  Congratulations to Elli, Lathan, Kyndell and everyone involved in showing livestock at this year’s 127th Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo
