If you have a heart… get ready to lose it because we are introducing you to our Pet of the Week, Cassidy. This sweet girl came to HSNT at the beginning of the summer with a broken rear leg and a broken pelvis. After spending time in foster care giving her time to heal, Cassidy ended up needing surgery to remove her rear leg.
Now Cassidy has officially become the sweetest tripod you’ll ever meet! This 3-legged cutie has learned 3 life lessons through this process (1 for each leg):
#1 Don’t focus on what’s missing; work with what’s there.
#2 Just assume you’re gorgeous no matter what you physically look like
#3 When you find a slice of sunlight, lie in it and take a nap.
She is very friendly, will be the first to join you on the couch, and even have an extended conversation with you about your favorite Netflix show! If you are interested in bringing this beautiful, unique, sassy, 8-year-old Calico home, stop by the Lake Worth PetSmart to meet this lovely girl!
