Bonita is a 5 year old Shar-Pei mix looking for a loving home where she will be a part of the family.  She was rescued from a bad situation and lived her life at the end of a heavy chain.  Despite that, she loves people and has become a staff favorite. She has done well with other dogs during playtime but prefers the more calm ones that give her space.  She may do best as the only dog in her new home!  Bonita occasionally likes to chew on her toys and blankets, so make sure to have lots of appropriate things for her to choose from! She prefers to only go outside for potty time, and come right back in, she doesn’t like being out in the sun and heat.  Bonita did test positive for heartworms when she came to us.  Don’t let that stop you from adopting though, as her treatment is included in the adoption!  She is spayed, current on her vaccinations, and microchipped.  Come and meet her today at HSNT’s Waggin’ Tails Adoption Center 9009 Benbrook Blvd in Benbrook open daily from 12-6pm.
