For the first time since 1993 NASCAR has a Cup Series race snowedout. Clint Bowyer did not complain about having to wait another day because he finally tastes victory once again. Bowyer led the final 114 laps on the way to winning the STP 500 at Martinsville, snapping a personal 190 race winless drought. That is the third longest time span between wins in the history of the series. Kyle Busch once again has to settle for a second place finish, Ryan Blaney third, Martin Truex Jr. fourth, and Kevin Harvick fifth. NASCAR will take this weekend off for Easter before heading to Texas Motor Speedway.
