Coming in with a HUGE Father’s Day surprise, Shooter Jennings, the son of the late great Waylon Jennings delivered an unexpected announcement.
Shooter took to Instagram June 16th, 2024 to state that after his Father’s death in 2002, he knew archived tapes were out there. For years they sat in various storage locations and across studios. After some digital transferring throughout the years, he and assistant engineer Nate Haessly sat down to investigate what exactly they had. Track by track and reel by reel Waylon Jennings, his band, his process, and his songs took on new life. Shooter ended his Instagram post by promising “New, classic, Waylon Jennings Music in 2025.” Buckle up folks.
