Charles Wesley Godwin has been a busy man. He has given us a date on his “Family Ties Trilogy” short film which debuts Wednesday, June 12th. He tweeted that Chapter One “Miner Imperfections” would be the first drop. Building off his successful Family Ties album, the chapters will be released at different times.
June 12 – Chapter 1 – “Miner Imperfections”
June 20 – Chapter 2 – “Another Leaf”
June 26 – Full short film release, including “Dance in Rain”
When releasing the trailer for the short, the Charles Wesley Godwin camp was quoted saying: “Miner Imperfections,” “Another Leaf,” and “Dance in Rain” tell the story of a couple navigating life and building a family during The Great Depression, through World War II, and into the “Golden Era” of the 1950s.” Take a peek at the trailer for the short below.
