With 40% of the vote Texans agree with the nationwide survey and say Chick-Fil-A is their favorite fast food restaurant, but it’s the next three spots that set us apart. According to our What Texans Say Survey, Whataburger came in a close second with 38%, followed by the home of the sweet tea Chicken Express and, one of my late night favorites, Taco Casa. The national survey also had the Chick-Fil-A at the top of the list,  apparently cow’s create effective billboards, but Panera Bread, Papa John’s, Pizza Hut and Subway came in second through fifth, meaning our beloved Whataburger wasn’t even in the top five (Thereby invalidating the list in my humble opinion.)
