Kevin Harvick has led a lot of laps at Atlanta in recent years, but he had failed to lead that last one until Sunday. Harvick was out front for 181 of the 325 laps to win the Folds of Honor QuikTrip 500. It’s the fifth straight Atlanta race in which he has led the most laps. This was a special win for Harvick, coming at the same track where he earned his first win 17 years ago, replacing the late Dale Earnhardt early in the 2001 season. Brad Keselowski finished second on Sunday, Clint Bowyer third, Denny Hamlin fourth, and Martin Truex Jr. fifth. Sixth place is good enough for Joey Logano to take over the points lead.
