Martin Truex Jr. was well on his way to a series-leading fifth win Saturday night at Richmond. Truex led nearly half the laps and was on cruise control when Derrike Cope brushed the wall and brought out the caution. Kyle Larson won the race off pit road then drove off in the two-lap overtime to claim his fourth win of the year. Making matters worse for Truex he was wrecked by Denny Hamlin racing for second and wound up 20th on the night. However the 78 car will still enter the playoffs as the odds-on favorite next week.
