I first met Brandon Steadman through a mutual friend while doing radio in San Angelo. Soon we went from acquaintances to friends to brothers and the rest is history. I always like to get the exclusive on new music so I begged Brandon to let me debut Stronger Than The Whiskey. Little did I know that I’d soon be the first guy to spin his music on the radio.
Brandon began playing guitar during high school in Austin, TX and continued on to form the band while attending the University of Texas. Throughout his three albums there are songs of partying, adventure and love but mainly heartbreak. A patron at one of his shows once said “That boy has had his heart broke!” You’ll see some recognizable names in the co-writes not to mention, Whole Lot Of Hard Work, which was written by Adam Hood. The coolest part of that is Adam didn’t ask Brandon to record it, he told him. Steadman even performed The National Anthem live at a Texas Rangers home game! He has one song that isn’t on any records and is only performed live so catch a show, buy the music, repeat.
