Sweet Sandy Lou is a 3 year old Pit Bull mix ready and waiting for her next adventure! She was flown in from New Orleans before the hurricane hit, to help make room for any animals displaced by the storms. We don’t know how she came to be in their care, but we know that she will make someone a loyal and loving companion! She is always up front at the gate to greet people with a wagging tail (and hopes that there might be treats!).  We don’t know how she is with other dogs, so we do recommend bringing any current dogs up for a meet-and-greet to see if everyone gets along. Sandy Lou did test positive for heartworms when she came in, but her treatment is covered by her adoption through our clinic in Fort Worth, so don’t let that stop you from adopting!
