The fine folks at Rotten Tomatoes put together a list of the top 50 Christmas Movies of all time and of course the Jimmy Stewart classic “It’s a Wonderful Life” came in at the top spot, followed by some old movie I haven’t seen called “Meet Me in St. Louis” starring Dorothy. “Miracle on 34th Street” and Irving Berlin’s “Holiday Inn” with Fred Astaire and Bing Crosby rounded out the top 4. All of which were made prior to my parents arrival on this earth, much less mine. Not quite sure how “National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation”, one of the greatest cinematic works ever created, didn’t make it higher on the list. Here’s the full thing.
